Besides other major projects, Patria Bank is happy and proud to get involved in various activities that support and encourage the social values it believes in.
Since January 19, 2017, ”Patria of Good Deeds” has hosted at its headquarters in Bucharest blood donation campaigns on a regular basis. These campaigns are organized in partnership with the Bucharest Blood Transfusion Center.
Together with co-workers, neighbors and friends from Patria Bank, Scala Events, Agricover, Promidea, Toyota Romania, Global Vision, Microsoft, Printec, Bayer and Coface we managed to collect over fifty liters of blood in the three campaigns we have organized so far.
As a partner, Patria Bank has supported the “Dare to Speak Conference”, an event organized by students of the Department of Computer Science of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
Since we know how important public speaking is for everyone’s career, we want to support those who are willing to learn how to manage their fears and emotions and give an impactful speech.
On May 8, 2017, at the event opening, our colleague Raluca Andreica, General Manager of Patria Credit IFN practiced her public speaking skills and told the students what a career in a financial institution is about.
Twenty-seven of our co-workers ran in the Bucharest Half Marathon that was held on May 14, 2017. In total they ran over 234 kilometers to support the cause of Help Autism Association and our mission to have a healthy country.
Patria Bank and the Music Society have concluded a partnership agreement to support and promote the Mihail Jora Composition and Performance National Contest and the Laureates’ Tour that took place during 2017 in Romania and abroad. Our goal is to support authentic cultural values and to promote talented Romanian youth.
The Mihail Jora Contest is the oldest and most important classical music contest in Romania. This was the 27th edition.
